Salacia and Drew attended the Kansas City Art Institute from 2012 to 2016, both receiving a BFA in Sculpture.

Salacia was born and raised in St. Joseph, MO. Salacia is an adventurous, honest, loud, shy, and awkward gal who tends to keep to herself because she finds it easier. Since she was very young, she has enjoyed designing and creating with her hands.

Salacia is interested in doing the best for the planet with her artwork by using recycled materials, found objects, and renewable resources. Through her art Salacia wants the audience to have a moment to reflect and find peace within themselves. She hopes they will walk away in a positive mood and go out into the world to do positive work.

When she first started her Talking Boxes series, she wanted to create a way of sharing opinions and harsh moments to help heal herself and others. The series serves to convey the feeling that these inanimate objects are saying these peculiar, sometimes sassy, statements to help alleviate the difficult situations manipulative controlling narcissists have put her in. Occasionally a box would share a strong point of view that we might need to hear. Nowadays, the reach of these boxes goes beyond healing from trauma and dives into helping customers say something to another person through art.

Salacia has also designed and coordinated many happenings and creative events under Photo Playhouse, Midwest Mood, and Selfie Boutique.

Andrew hails from Kansas City, Missouri. He grew up in a very creative and artistic environment as the son of two architects and a music-inclined brother. Andrew was exposed to art workshops, wood shop, and engineering/building classes at a very young age, which helped push him into pursuing creative endeavors. 

Andrew's current portfolio of artwork primarily consists of carvings made from responsibly sourced Colorado wood. He enjoys incorporating a touch of metal craft and resin epoxy casts into his work. Andrew's subject matter is often abstract and non-representational, using geometric forms and unique lines to accentuate the organic beauty of the wood while adding a structured, contemporary flare. 

Not all of Andrew's art is for aesthetic decor. He crafts many functional pieces as well, ranging from salad bowls and utensils to shelves, chairs, and designer furniture. A jack-of-all-trades, Andrew strives to create beautiful, usable, and stunning artwork to send out into a world in dyer need of more creativity.
